Spring Showers - May Flowers

Well, in the midst of Spring showers and thunderstorms - the grass is green, the trees and flowers are blossoming, and there is beauty all around in Omaha! Love the tulips - they are everywhere!

Joyful Moments of a Mission

On Monday we flew through the air with the joy of a Spring day at the Lewis and Clark lookout. Two days later we settled in for another long winters night with snowfall once again! Oh well....it's all joyful.

The Nordhoff's and Sweet Sister Pryde take a last photo before leaving. How we love all of these precious servants of the Lord.
Kanesville Elders are super missionaries!

P Day at the Henry Doorly Zoo

Although it was a chilly day, it was warmer than many others as we missionaries started out for a holiday at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. Chilly outside, but very warm inside where we spent much of the day in the  jungle and aquarium as well as the Desert Dome and Butterfly Pavilion. It was a day to marvel at the creations of God and recognize how much He loves all of us, His children, to provide so many incredible creatures of the earth. The Lord is in the details of our lives.

This does not begin to do justice to the breathtaking beauty of these lovely, graceful jellyfishes

 Truly weird!

The Butterfly Pavillion was exquisite. They totally filled the area and we got to walk in the midst of them.

These funny little characters were pretty tame. Some of the Sisters even petted one of them.

Tulips finally blossoming at the Tabernacle.

 Huge penguin area. Amazing!
This is Horace, very tame, liked to be petted.
